Welcome to Bowden Alpacas
Welcome to our family business here in North Cornwall close to the Devon border and the coastal town of Bude. We started keeping alpacas in December 2008 and they are now such a part of life it seems like they have been with us for ever. We started with six females from South West Alpacas. We, that is me Angela Locke and my son Stuart Snow decided to keep these wonderful animals for their luxurious fleeces and enchanting ways. Our breeding plan seems to be working well and we have been very lucky to have had such gorgeos healthy cria over the last two years and have started our breeding programme for year three. Alpaca Knitwear
We have a selection of knitted garments, beautiful Alpaca wool and kits to buy which are available on our website coastalyarns.co.uk but should you have any requests for an Alpaca garment we will provide the wool, hand knit it for you and suggest patterns if you do not have one. Alpaca Yarn is beautifully soft and warmer than you can imagine. Our Beanies have proved very popular and prices are very reasonable, please contact Bowden Alpacas on 01288353815 (or leave a message and we will get back to you) . Once you have worn Alpaca you will not want to wear anything else.

You will find us less than a mile from Widemouth Bay beaches and only a short distance to the small coastal town of Bude yet here you are in the countryside with Alpacas grazing peacefully around you.
